Restaurant "Cast iron" in Plyos should vacate the premises of the sports school

The Arbitration Court of the Ivanovo region declared illegal transactions related to the lease of premises with an area of about 700 square meters, which were occupied by the Chugunok restaurant on the territory of the Milovka ski complex. According to the decision of the court, the property must be returned to the disposal of the Olympic Reserve Sports School No. 2.

As established by the Prosecutor’s office, in 2012, the institution received control of part of the non-residential building. Initially, the square was planned to be used for the sale of sports goods, but in 2013 a restaurant opened there. Subsequently, lease rights were transferred several times from one commercial organization to another.

The inspection revealed violations in the management of state property. In particular, the terms of the contract allowed the transfer of premises for sublease and gratuitous use, as well as the assignment of rights to third parties. In addition, according to the supervisory authority, subsequent transactions were concluded without the consent of the owner, and the initial transfer of the object took place without competitive procedures provided for by law.

On December 3, the court satisfied the requirements of the prosecutor’s office and declared the transactions invalid. Representatives of the defendants intend to appeal the decision.
