ROF named after A.A. Kadyrov helped to open a dental office for patients with tuberculosis

The Republican Center for Phthisiopulmonology of the Chechen Republic opened a dental office for hospital patients. The financing of the equipment was provided by the Regional Public Fund named after Hero of Russia Akhmat-Haji Kadyrov. This was announced by the Minister of Health of the Chechen Republic Adam Alkhanov.

According to the head of the department, the opening of the office solves an important problem of the availability of dental care for patients with tuberculosis. “In some forms of tuberculosis, clinic visits are associated with epidemiological limitations. Now dental care will be available to patients directly in the center, without the need to go to other medical institutions, the minister said.

The office is equipped with all the necessary equipment, including a portable X-ray machine. Dental services are provided taking into account the features of the main diagnosis of patients, which is especially important for this category of patients.

The minister stressed that assistance for concomitant diseases should be provided in a timely manner, despite prolonged hospitalization. “At present, 272 people are being treated in the hospital, including 16 children. I believe it is important that during long-term hospitalization they receive timely assistance for concomitant diseases, added Adam Alkhanov.

Earlier it was reported that the Kadyrov Foundation helped to solve the problem of access to water in one of the camps in Palestine.
