The Rosselkhoznadzor announced a warning to the Road Management Department of the Kaliningrad region after the discovery of animal remains and rotting innards near the village of Kozlovka. This is stated on the website of the Prosecutor General.
Information about biological waste was received by the department. Specialists went to the specified coordinates and during the inspection confirmed that there are unburned remains and rotting insides of the animal on the territory.
According to the Unified State Register of Real Estate, the land plot where the waste was found belongs to the state-owned institution “Directorate of Roads of the Kaliningrad Region”.
The Rosselkhoznadzor drew the attention of the institution to the requirements of veterinary rules for the disposal of biological waste. In particular, such wastes must be destroyed in special biothermal pits or burned until a non-combustible residue is formed. The ash and other residues should be buried in the same trench where the incineration took place. Dumping biological waste into forests, fields, ravines and reservoirs is prohibited.
The agency warned the institution about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements.
