Rosselkhoznadzor revealed violations in sowing seeds from Orel farmer

Management of the Rosselkhoznadzor in the Orel region prevented a violation when working with seed material. Under the attention of the department was an individual entrepreneur, head of KFH Romanov E.A. The violation was revealed thanks to the monitoring of the federal state information system “Seed production”.

As told in the press service of the Ministry, the farmer entered into the system data on the sowing of 28.5 tons of seeds of winter soft wheat and soybeans — only 6 lots. The agro-enterprise planned to use them for the production of new seeds, but there were no accompanying documents on the planting material confirming its varietal and sowing qualities.

The use of such seeds is a direct violation of the law and can lead to serious negative consequences for the agricultural market of the region.

Since violations are still potential, the Rosselkhoznadzor Office limited itself to a preventive measure. The IP has officially declared a warning about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements.
