Russians told how to scare the wolf away from human housing

The number of wolves in Russia is gradually increasing along with the destruction of their natural habitats. It becomes more difficult for them to find food in the forests, so they go out into settlements and attack pets. About this in an interview with KP.RU told zoologist Ilya Gomyranov.

If there is a good large forest nearby, the probability that a wolf will come to your village is much less. And if in the forest at the moment is cutting down and some other active work, the animals are more likely to show up near a person, — said the expert.

According to Gomyranov, lone wolves usually come out to people - it is difficult for them to get food alone, but flocks try to stay away from a person.

The zoologist said that to scare away the beast can be a loud barking dog, bright light, as well as a large number of people. Wolves hunt mainly in the evening and at night, because they are afraid to meet a person.

Earlier, zoologist Mikhail Krechmar told who more often becomes victims of wolves.

Zoologist Pavel Glazkov explained why wolves come to people.
