When buying jeans, it is important to consider not only their style, but also the composition of the fabric: the fit, comfort and appearance of the product depend on these characteristics. About this “Gazeta.Ru” told the expert Yana Melusheva.

Among the everyday models are the Straight and Wide Leg. The first are jeans with a straight silhouette from the hips to the bottom, without strong fitting. The Wide Leg pants are wider, and there is more freedom in the hip area, Melusheva explained.

The way jeans sit on the figure is also influenced by the material. The basis of the classic denim is one hundred percent cotton of sarge weaving, and additional fibers allow you to regulate the softness, elasticity and wear resistance of the fabric. So, lyocell makes the material softer and more plastic, elastane provides stretchability, and polyester helps reduce shrinkage and the formation of folds.

The expert stressed that the presence of polyester in the composition does not necessarily mean that such jeans will be hot. Comfort also depends on the density and structure of the material, as well as on the features of the cut. Therefore, it is not necessary to evaluate the fabric only by the proportion of synthetic fibers.

The shade and degree of denim rubbing are determined by a special treatment - "cooking". There is no universal color of jeans: when choosing a blue, gray or color model, you should focus on the usual wardrobe and your own preferences.
