Russian found 10 days after missing in tundra

In the Krasnoyarsk region, rescuers found a 62-year-old man who disappeared in the tundra in the north of the region. The search lasted ten days. This was reported in the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the agency, on October 6, the man took a gun and left on a motor boat from the village of Volochanka in Taimyr towards the fishing point. His family reported him missing on October 7. Rescuers, police and local residents joined the search.

The man was found on October 16 in a hunting hut. He did not need medical attention and had a supply of food. He was unable to return home on his own due to a motor boat breakdown.

In the village of Volochanka, a man was taken by helicopter of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. His life and health are not in danger.
