Head of educational organization convicted in Dagestan for bribes

The Derbent city court sentenced the head of the educational organization, finding her guilty of taking bribes, the joint press service of the courts of Dagestan reports.

In January of this year, the woman was already tried for fraud, assigning a suspended sentence. But during the investigation, new episodes were revealed: holding a senior position in an educational organization, she received 35 thousand rubles from one applicant and 92 thousand from another - according to investigators, as a reward for actions within the framework of official powers.

In court, the defendant pleaded guilty. According to the set of crimes, 3 years 6 months of imprisonment in a general regime colony are assigned. The woman was taken into custody in the courtroom, the previously imposed suspended sentence on the first sentence is executed independently.

Also, the court confiscated 127 thousand rubles to the state income - the amount of bribes received.
