Ryazanka Daria Popova reached the final of the contest “Library of the Year”

Head of the Department of Youth Projects and Volunteer Activities of the Ryazan Regional Universal Scientific Library named after Gorky Daria Popov was among the 20 finalists of the All-Russian competition “Library of the Year – 2026”. This was reported in the Ministry of Culture of the Ryazan region.

The professional competition brings together library specialists from all over the country. This year, 353 applications from 77 regions of Russia were received. In October, the jury will determine the winners in the main nominations: “Library of the Year”, “Best Young Librarian” and “Library of the Future – the View of the Young”.

The founder of the competition is the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the organizer is the Russian National Library with the support of the St. Petersburg State Institute of Culture and the Russian Library Association. The names of the laureates will be announced on November 11 at the Annual Meeting of Library Managers.
