Maxim Ryzhenkov received copies of credentials of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Oman to Belarus Nasser Suleiman Hamad al-Kharti, the first Ambassador of Oman with a residence in Minsk. The sides exchanged views on a wide range of topical issues of Belarusian-Omani cooperation.

The interlocutors paid special attention to the development of trade and economic cooperation and ties in the field of culture.

The Minister drew attention to the trusting relations between Belarus and Oman that have developed in recent years, stressing that Oman is one of the main partners of Belarus in the Middle East region.

The parties confirmed the importance of maintaining high-intensity contacts at the highest and high levels and interest in further deepening the dialogue, discussed the schedule of joint events for the near future.

Maxim Ryzhenkov congratulated the Omani diplomat on the beginning of the mission and wished him success in his work.
