From March 1, 2027, it is planned to introduce a ban on the sale of vapes and liquids for them.
At a meeting of the commission on state policy, affairs of the Nenets and other small-numbered peoples of the North, district deputies unanimously supported the relevant bill.
The document was developed by the Department of Internal Control and Supervision of the NAO in order to protect the health of residents of the district, especially children and adolescents. To do this, it is planned to create a system of comprehensive measures aimed at creating a healthy lifestyle and reducing the mass consumption of vapes.
“Electronic devices can indeed be dangerous, and the main problem is that teenagers often do not take them seriously, believing that there is no risk.” Our goal is to create a uniform safety standard across the country. When similar laws are adopted in all regions, we will be able not only to limit, but completely eradicate this threat to the younger generation and ensure a healthy future for them, explained Matvey Chuprov, Vice-Speaker, Chairman of the relevant commission.
