From March 1, banks will block transfers of Volgograd citizens from devices with viruses
Russian banks will refuse customers in transfers from mobile devices on which malware is detected. This will protect Russians from fraudsters, said the Director of the Department of information security of the Central Bank Vadim Uvarov

“The 210th federal law was adopted on June 26 this year, from March 1, banks will be obliged to protect their applications and the ability to log in via the web version in order to monitor the environment of malicious software on the device,” the representative of the Central Bank explained. We believe that this should additionally protect our citizens so that they do not fall for such schemes and tricks. A person must give consent for this to happen.”.
Vadim Uvarov told TASS that if a malware is detected on the device, the bank will reject the operation and offer to conduct it from a secure device, or the client will have to come to the department.
The law limits the period of stay of individuals in the database of the Bank of Russia “On cases and attempts to make money transfers without the voluntary consent of the client”. The first person to enter it will be listed there for 1 year. With repeated hit - 3 years.
