From the V Youth Meeting of Ambassadors “Professionality” Smolensk residents brought new solutions to popularize working professions

From 7 to 9 October, the V Youth Meeting of Ambassadors of the Federal Project “Professionality” was held in Grozny, organized by the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education. The large-scale forum was attended by more than 500 people from 86 regions of Russia, including students of colleges and technical schools, their curators, as well as finalists of the All-Russian Competition of Youth Media Centers.

Representatives of the Smolensk region actively participated in the program of the event, participating in open dialogues and plenary discussions with representatives of the IRPO, employers and relevant ministries. As part of the work of the Design Bureau, the Smolyans prepared proposals for holding the All-Russian Single Open Day in regional clusters. In addition, the participants passed trainings on teamwork and public speeches, studied the successful experience of other regions in attracting applicants and mastered the tools to promote the values of the national project “Youth and Children”. An important component was the strengthening of interregional ties and the development of the format of promoting STR on the principle of “equal – equal”.

The team of the Smolensk region plans to systematically apply the acquired knowledge, media and design developments in regional activities. The main goal is to strengthen career guidance work with schoolchildren, form a positive image of working specialties and increase the number of applicants entering professional educational organizations in the region.

The Governor of the Smolensk region Vasily Anokhin noted that the participation of the delegation in the meeting was another step in strengthening the personnel potential of the region. He stressed that the guys brought from Grozny not only vivid impressions, but also ready-made design solutions. According to the head of the region, an important aspect is the emphasis on modern methods of promotion and the principle of “equal – equal”, thanks to which students themselves become ambassadors of professions and sincerely tell their peers about the prospects of VET.
