According to the company, this separate collection helped reduce the share of textiles in mixed waste from 6% to 4%. This method, among other things, prevents breakdowns at processing complexes. If the fabric goes along with the rest of the waste, it can wind up on the machinery and disable the equipment. With separate disposal, this does not happen.
In special containers you can put clothes, bedding, towels, curtains, shoes, bags, backpacks, belts, glasses, jewelry and headgear. The main thing is that things should be clean and dry. In these containers can not put leather and fur products, soft toys, mattresses, carpets, underwear, electronics and books.
The NEO recalled that good things are sent to charity, and textiles unsuitable for socks are taken to the Ivanovo region. There it is processed into yarn, gloves and technical rags. You can find the nearest container on the interactive map of separate waste collection on the operator's website.
