Sakhalin customs handed over books for libraries of Shakhtersk

Customs officers of the region-chief of the Sakhalin region took part in the action “Gift to libraries of Donbass” (0+). Employees of the department collected dozens of books, stationery and goods for creativity. Among the publications are books for young children, collections of classical literature and scientific and educational works.

According to the press service of the administration of the Mining Municipal District, the parcel with literature will be completed together with a common batch of humanitarian cargo collected for the needs of miners. Departure to the Donetsk People’s Republic is scheduled for November 2026. After arriving at the site, the books will be distributed according to needs among local libraries.
