Lard in chocolate and pig races are waiting for guests of the festival in the Lipetsk region

The festival "Good lard" will be held on November 21 in the village of Good Lipetsk region. Guests will be able to try unusual snack options, including lard in chocolate and with spinach.

According to the press service of the regional government, 17 rural settlements of Dobrovsk district will present their signature recipes. On the tables there will be fat of different types - salted, smoked, peppered and onion husks.

In addition to tastings, guests are waiting for piggy runs, a parade of dressed piglets, a competition for the best sandwich and a competition for the performance of chaptushki. Cookery workshops, a craft fair and a big concert are also planned.

The fair will start at 8:00, the opening of the festival is scheduled for 10:00. Entry is free.
