Half a century ago, in the youngest and fastest growing district of Minsk, Frunzensky, secondary school No. 138 opened its doors for students. Today, November 6, she officially celebrated her 50th anniversary, writes sb.by.

- At the photo exhibition in honor of the anniversary, which we organized in the lobby, there is a unique picture from the opening ceremony: the first director Alexander Shishkovets holds a symbolic metal key in his hands. The key, by the way, is preserved: take it out on the first and last call.

- I remember, as a young specialist, I went to the Department of Education for distribution, and I was asked: “Which school do you want?” "Then you're at 138." That's how it happened. For your understanding, I inexperienced that the table in the office of Director Svetlana Podorovskaya is my workplace. And she sat with me for two days, not expressing the slightest displeasure.

- I was hired as a television announcer. But life made its own adjustments, and I had to give up television - I went to work as a teacher, and I never regretted it! Of course, a lot has changed over the years: the school itself, students, and parents. But the main thing remained: a wonderful team, the desire for goodness and mutual understanding. For many years, we have taught students that it doesn’t matter who you end up being, it matters what you are.

- A lot of things: the theater “This is what we are” and the media center “We Display”, the school newspaper “Shkolyarik” began to appear regularly, the director Natalia Nesterovich-Serchenya lists. We received the status of a peace school, and last academic year we opened the Afghanistan Museum. A story of courage and courage.” Our school traditionally has Olympians and professional athletes. For example, eleventh grader Dmitry Tikhanenok is a member of the national swimming team.

In honor of the anniversary, the school prepared a photo exhibition and a photo zone, gave thanks to the best teachers. And the headliner of the holiday was Alexander Solodukha, and for a reason: his granddaughter is studying at this school.
