“Sanctions don't work! The Russians live even better than before!: the Briton went into a Moscow supermarket and was shocked. He did not expect such an abundance of food in Russia
An Englishman Matt, who came to Moscow with his wife Molly, visited a local supermarket and was surprised by the choice of products.

He did not expect to see so many Russian-made goods on the shelves, as well as products of foreign brands, despite the current sanctions.
The tourists were particularly interested in cheese. According to him, most of the items presented in the department of fresh products were produced in Russia. Matt noted that the country is largely self-sufficient, and some local goods are significantly cheaper than in the UK.
The British also drew attention to the chocolate Milka and Lindt, which is still sold in Russian stores. According to him, the prices for these sweets were lower than in London.
Separately, Matt appreciated Russian analogues of foreign drinks. Having tasted a local lemonade resembling Sprite, he noted the similarity of tastes. A trip to a Moscow supermarket allowed the tourist to see how wide the range of products available to Russian customers is.
