Saranchan warned that fraudsters have learned to fake the voices of teachers through AI

Residents of Saransk were warned about a new scheme of fraud using artificial intelligence. Attackers fake teachers’ voices to deceive parents.

Scammers call on behalf of the teacher and under the pretext of an urgent problem ask to transfer money. The Interior Ministry advises to interrupt the conversation and call back the teacher yourself.

In addition, experts stressed that the new scheme should be warned in the school parent chat. Teachers can also give instructions on how to recognize his identity without getting caught by intruders.
