Saransk was among the winners of the contest “Family Capital of Russia”

Saransk was recognized as the winner in the category “City of Family Stability” at the first All-Russian competition “Family Capital of Russia”. The results were announced on October 13 at a ceremony at the State Kremlin Palace in Moscow.
The capital of Mordovia won among the cities with a population not exceeding 500 thousand people. The key indicator for determining the winner was the ratio of the number of registered marriages and the number of divorces. In the category of large settlements in this nomination Kazan prevailed.
In total, 60 applications were submitted from cities representing 39 Russian regions. The finals were ten candidates, among which was Saransk. The jury evaluated the support initiatives.
