The early appearance of New Year's sweets on store shelves, recorded two and a half months before December 31, sparked discussion among residents of the region. Buyers fear that long-term storage of chocolates and caramel in warm warehouses will lead to the loss of their taste by the time of delivery. In open sources, experts write that when stored for more than two months, chocolate is subject to “fat graying” (the appearance of whitish plaque), and wafer and marshmallow elements can lose moisture or damp.

Despite the fact that manufacturers claim to comply with all temperature standards and the availability of quality certificates, consumers in social networks, citing the experience of past years, point to the change in the taste of sweets in already purchased “in reserve” sets.
