“Health collection” organized the Karelian branch of the UZHR

As part of the autumn action of the Karelian branch of the Union of Women of Russia (UWR) “Health collection” vitamin assistance was provided to one of the military units located on the territory of the republic. The initiative is aimed at supporting military personnel carrying the security service.

The action was attended by women's councils from Petrozavodsk (chairman Nadezhda Dreyzis), Pryazhinsky district (chairman Raisa Ermolaeva) and the women's council of the Karelian Center for Social Services of the Population (chairman Elena Makarova). Joint efforts were collected parcels, including onions, garlic, vitamins and cold medicines – all that is designed to strengthen the health of the fighters and support their immunity.

The special significance of the action was given by the response of teachers and students of Petrozavodsk State University (PetrSU). The participation of young people and the teaching community in the initiative of women's organizations testifies to the viability of good traditions and the formation of a common cause spanning different generations.

The organizers of the event thank everyone who participated and contributed. It is emphasized that joint efforts allow to achieve significant results, and care and support are transferred to military personnel, who, in turn, express sincere gratitude for the relevant and timely vitamin care.

This action is a vivid example of how combining the efforts of different communities can contribute to strengthening the spirit and health of those who stand guard over the security of the country.
