The participant of the contest “Beauty of Belarus” Alesya Kononova from Minsk district – about the secrets of women’s happiness

Yesterday, on Mother’s Day, the Week of Parental Love started in Belarus – a time when we speak with special warmth and care for those who manage to do everything: to give unconditional love to children, build a career and inspire others. Alesya Kononova, a participant of the regional stage of the republican competition among mothers with many children “Beauty of Belarus – 2026”, demonstrated a lot of talents that can organically coexist in a beautiful Belarusian woman. She is a sympathetic doctor, a loving mother, who in her family is the main friend and mentor. About the secrets of female happiness Ales told the correspondent of “SG”.

In the family of Alesya Kononova grow beautiful daughters Vera, Kira and Miroslav, and with them - little son Ilya. “I myself do not come from a large family,” Alesya immediately explains, reasoning how her own hearth was built. As a child, I had only a brother – now he is 31 years old, but for me he will always be a “younger”. But the husband is from a large family: he has a sister and three brothers. In our house, by the way, it turns out the opposite. I don’t think life prepared him for such a woman.

Ales did not think about the mother’s fourfold happiness, but motherhood brought something incredible to her life. And material difficulties were not frightening.

- We were never afraid of the future, we were never worried about conditions and well-being. We are not millionaires, but we can give our children everything they need to be happy. Love doesn't require conditions. Every day with children is a pleasure in itself, especially since there is always a reliable shoulder of the husband who supports, helps, takes on half of the responsibilities of the house.

Initially, the family lived in the capital, and she had every opportunity to stay there. The desire for an environmentally friendly environment pushed to change the city streets to clean air in the village of Malinovka Shchomyslitsky village council.

- I'm a native of Minsk. My whole life, including 14 years in the ambulance, was spent in the capital. But at one point we faced a problem: the children began to get sick often. For several years, the periods from October to April turned into constant runs between clinics and hospitals, into eternal blood collections, taking antibiotics and IVs. My husband and I have never smoked or consumed alcohol. Children’s health is our number one concern. So Malinovka became our new home, explains Alesya Kononova. Alesya emphasizes the great help of the state. Taking into account maternity capital and subsidies, it amounted to about 67 thousand rubles in material terms. To settle in a new place helped birth payments, benefits and maternity. “Such attention to families is valuable, as, in general, to other social categories: pensioners, disabled people,” says the mother of many children. - Attention to the woman. A year in our honor, I think, was appreciated by everyone. Today we have everything to realize ourselves, to build a strong family, a career. I don’t understand people who are looking for benefits abroad.

My wife is grateful for a good husband.

- That day I had a working day, she recalls a romantic story. The ambulance received a call: at the bus stop, the person became ill - according to the medical protocol, he had to be taken to the hospital to conduct a full examination. Only now the patient was dangerous: he took out a knife and began to riot. In the end, instead of hospital, we decided to take him to the police station. And there I saw him... One look and one smile that made everything clear. In the morning Andrew met me with flowers

A little more than six months later, the couple got married - and since then they have been together for 10 years.

Three girls and one boy are their main assets. The oldest assistant is 10 years old and the youngest is 10 months old. With them in the house lives and an unusual pet - a two-year-old lizard species bearded agama, or family "dragon". As Alesya notes, this lively family mascot was a gift, but became a full member of their friendly team. Children, by the way, thanks to him became interested in nature, less sitting in gadgets.

I can’t help but ask what makes Ales so feminine and beautiful.

- Taking time for yourself when you have a big family is hard, she says. Personally, this does not upset me at all. Children are the elixir of youth. I live a happy life, I would wish that for everyone.

To take part in the “Beauty of Belarus” Alesya was pushed by friends:

- Normally I don’t have time for my phone or social media at all – most of the day I’ll probably be out of reach. Friends persuaded to register and try to show themselves. I tried it! The experience of the contest is unforgettable. I was able to meet creative and very different mothers, and together we kind of created a kind of women's club for a moment. The atmosphere of support and incredible understanding, perhaps, turned out to be even more valuable for me than the title “Beauty of Belarus”.

In conclusion, Alesya added: in the modern world, many continue to adhere to the dense opinion that a large family is a heavy burden, that irresponsible people decide on such a thing, to put it mildly. And just the attention of the state, the high status of a mother with many children, competitions where our guardians of a large hearth can show themselves, break these terrible stereotypes.

- We, happy mothers with many children, show people that children are not a problem, but happiness, the main happiness on Earth. These are our hearts, parts of our souls and the continuation of our stories. On Parental Love Week, we celebrate this inspiration more than ever and thank our mothers.
