The couple of the Faculty of Information Technologies of the Belarusian State Technological University Nikita and Victoria Borisov, following the results of the Republican contest of student families “Happy Together” completed on October 17, took the first place – the press service of BSTU told about this couple.

The story of Nikita and Victoria began in the first year during laboratory work. Victoria asked Nikita to help with the task, and in gratitude invited him for coffee. Simple student mutual assistance quickly grew into sincere feelings and a strong family. The couple spends their free time on joint hobbies - LEGO assembly and warm walks. Their family motto is “Love endures long, compassionate and never ceases.”.

In the final of the competition, which took place in Minsk in mid-October, the first stage of the face-to-face competition was called the “Quality Mark”. Couples with their own hands created author family keyboards. Here, not only imagination and accuracy were evaluated, but also the ability of the spouses to hear each other and work in tandem.
“Victoria and Nikita presented an exclusive wall keyboard called “Map of our beginning”, which will remind of the place where their roads crossed and the family was born – a favorite technological university,” the university said.

The end of the second day of the competition was the romantic contest “Holiday Dinner”: couples served a table in accordance with the theme “Lavanda” and jointly prepared dishes. Victoria and Nikita in the kitchen showed themselves as one team - the ability to share responsibilities and create an atmosphere of home comfort and warmth.

On the final day in the concert hall of the Minsk Concert, the Borisov family couple revealed their story: how they met, how their feelings developed and what, in their opinion, is the secret of happiness.
- This is not just a competition story – it is a living example of how love and learning can go hand in hand, the press service said. Nikita and Victoria showed that the student family is not about postponed dreams, but about how to build them together, supporting each other at every stage.
According to the results of all competitive tests, the Borisov family couple from BSTU became the owners of the first place. To support the couple came classmates, friends, relatives and friends, as well as representatives of the rectorate and dean's office - and this support was felt at every stage of the competition. On the important day of the final, the rector of BSTU Sergey Kasperovich was next to the pair to personally support Nikita and Victoria and share the excitement with them.
- Such support is expensive: when behind the back of the university, it becomes bolder. And when there is also a leadership, you realize that you are not alone. Nikita and Victoria are the family of our university. Their victory is an example for all students.

The Republican contest of student families “Happy Together” is aimed at strengthening traditional family values and forming a positive attitude towards marriage and family life among young people. This year’s contest participants were young families in which one of the spouses is studying at a higher education institution in Belarus, and the second spouse is not older than 31 years. At the qualifying stage, 30 couples demonstrated their strength. According to its results, 10 families received the right to perform in the final. More than 1,400 postcards were sent by Belarusians as part of the Pashtoительka batsykam campaign during the Parental Love Week.
