Seven out of ten Voronezh residents voted for a lifetime ban on the sale of vapes to young people
The idea of introducing a lifetime restriction on the sale of electronic cigarettes to citizens born after December 31, 2008, was approved by the majority of Voronezh residents

According to the survey, 70% of respondents would support such a measure. 10% of the city residents surveyed reacted negatively to it, and a fifth of the respondents could not give an unambiguous answer. Those who support the initiative explain their position as harm to the body, while their opponents fear that such a ban will lead to the spread of illegal sale.
Among women, support was slightly higher than among men – 73% against 67%. The largest share of supporters of the restriction was recorded in the age group from 35 to 44 years old, where 80% of participants approved the initiative. Among citizens over 45 years old, the ban was supported by 75%, but among young people under 35 years old - only 52%.
It also found that people with a higher education diploma are more likely to support the ban than those with secondary vocational education. In addition, among citizens with income from 100 to 150 thousand rubles, there are more supporters of the restriction than among residents with lower earnings.
The position of Voronezh residents is related to their attitude to smoking. Among those who use only regular cigarettes, 76% approved the ban, and among non-smokers - 73%. Less often, the initiative is supported by people who combine conventional cigarettes and vapes (50%), as well as those who use exclusively electronic devices (44%).
