The Prokhorov family from the NO won in the nomination “Rural family”

On October 13, a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the All-Russian contest “Family of the Year – 2026” was held at the State Kremlin Palace. The family of Alexander Pavlovich and Olga Viktorovna Prokhorovykh from the Vorotyn municipal district won the nomination “Rural family”.

The couple has been living and working in the village of Fokino of the Vorotyn district for 30 years. They set up a family farm, raised three children and now help raise three grandchildren. The eldest sons Ivan and Artem continued the work of their parents and work in the agrarian sphere, and Artem works in the family farm.

In addition to the development of farming, Aleksandr Pavlovich actively participates in the public life of the district and supports humanitarian initiatives, including providing assistance to participants in a special military operation. Olga Viktorovna, who worked as a pharmacist for many years, today helps her husband to conduct family business. During the years of living together, Prokhorov twice had to rebuild the house after a fire. Overcoming the trials helped hard work, mutual support and help of fellow villagers.

The all-Russian competition “Family of the Year” is held by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation together with the Fund for Support of Children in Difficult Life Situations, within the framework of the national project “Family”.
