In the Irkutsk region, the family of a 99-year-old woman cannot bury her in the cemetery due to the refusal of the administration to agree on a subburial next to the grave of her husband. It's reported by 112.

Relatives fear that the funeral will not take place even on the ninth day after the death of the woman, who died on November 1.

According to the Telegram channel, the place in the cemetery was prepared in advance. However, after receiving the documents, officials refused permission, citing the fact that the cemetery is not open on Sundays, and the family was also not allowed to hold the ceremony the day before.

Family members from other regions have already arrived at the funeral, and relatives paid for ritual services for 140,000 rubles, ordered a farewell hall and a memorial dinner.

The representative of the ritual bureau claims that problems with the registration of burials in this cemetery arise about six months.

Permits could intentionally delay families who go to certain ritual services, she said, and she is going to go to the prosecutor's office.
