For editing other people's photos using neural networks for the sake of humiliation of a person may face a fine of up to ten thousand rubles. This was told to the northerners in News.ru.

The lawyer explained that liability comes if there are signs of insult. The use of artificial intelligence is not considered a violation. For example, if a person creates a humiliating photo collage with a friend and publicly distributes it, he faces a fine under the article on insult in the Code of Administrative Offences.

In addition, the article of the Civil Code protects the right of a citizen to his own image. The victim can demand to delete the photo, which was distributed without his permission, and if there are grounds, then demand compensation for moral damage. The content of the material, the circumstances of its distribution and the consequences are important.
