Vladimir school No. 13 celebrated 65 years since the opening

Vladimir school No. 13 celebrated 65 years since the opening. The first students came here in 1961: then 48 teachers worked in the educational institution, and the number of schoolchildren exceeded a thousand people.
The first director was a participant of the Great Patriotic War Alexei Pospelov. He laid the foundations of school traditions and formed the principles of educational work, which continue to develop subsequent generations of teachers.
Current students and their parents, graduates, including those who returned to school as young specialists, veterans of pedagogical work and representatives of the city administration, gathered for the festive meeting. Among the guests were employees of the administration of the Frunze district and the Department of Education and Youth Policy.
Acting head of the school Svetlana Samsonova noted the continuity of generations and the importance of preserving the traditions of the educational institution. Veterans of pedagogical work were thanked for their contribution to the education and upbringing of children.
The festive program was prepared by schoolchildren and creative teams: dance performances were held on the stage. Teachers and school management were given souvenirs and letters of thanks.
