School: Tulyaks have the right to refuse online purchases of a child
The right of Tulyaks to refuse an online purchase made by a child applies the same as for any other remote orders

The right of Tulyaks to refuse an online purchase made by a child applies in the same way as for any other remote orders.
This was stated by a deputy of the lower house of the Russian parliament from the Tula region, the first deputy chairman of the Duma Committee on Economic Policy Nadezhda Shkolkina.
The parliamentarian drew attention to the fact that autumn is a time of traditional sales on marketplaces and online stores. These actions often attract the interest of children and adolescents.
“Responsibility for the behavior of children on the trading floors lies with parents: if the purchases are made from the phone, this is a legally significant action, and it will not be possible to explain it by a childish prank,” the Tula politician’s argument reads.
But there is a nuance: in October last year, the Second Court of Cassation of General Jurisdiction recognized for legal representatives the right to refuse the acquisition that the child made through their account in the online store.
A small resident of the capital accidentally “placed an order” for one hundred and two goods in the basket of my mother’s personal account. She tried to cancel the purchase, but the seller requested compensation for logistics and storage.
In the legal field, the buyer can refuse the goods ordered remotely before receiving it or within 7 days after.
“If the refusal followed before the receipt of the order at the point of issue, no costs should arise; if the goods have already been delivered, the maximum will have to pay for return delivery,” the deputy states.
“MK in Tula” wrote: in October, the Governor Dmitry Milyaev outlined the tasks for the new State Duma deputies from the region. The interests of Tulyaks are defended in the IX convocation together with Nadezhda Shkolkina Yuri Brovko and Alexander Nikitin, and in the Federation Council - Nikolai Vorobyov.
