Schoolchildren of the Pskov region fought for the title of the best programmers: the winners of IT-cub.Pskov were determined

The final of the Pskov Region Programming Cup 2026 was held on November 6 at the IT-Cub.Pskov Children’s Digital Education Center. This “MK in Pskov” reported in the Ministry of health of the Pskov region.

The participants of the competition were greeted by the head of the Department of Digital Development and Communications of the Government of the Pskov region Vitaly Rakhmanov, Deputy Manager of the Pskov branch of Sbera Mikhail Pankov, Director of the Center for Quality Assessment of Education Lyubov Ilyina and Director of the Regional Center for Information Technologies Alexey Dragunov.

The guests noted the relevance of the development of programming in the region and drew attention to the fact that programming today is not only preparation for a profession in IT. It helps you learn to take a complex problem apart, look for patterns, test hypotheses and correct errors. The team format adds to these skills the ability to distribute work and discuss decisions. Such qualities are needed in a competition, where it is important not only to come up with an algorithm, but also to accurately embody it in code.

The winners and prize-winners were congratulated and awarded by the Minister of Education of the Pskov region Alexander Sorokin.

Prizes in the two divisions were distributed as follows:

Division I

Division II
