Schoolchildren of the Kursk region are invited to congratulate Santa Claus

In Russia, there is a large-scale action for schoolchildren “Congratulations to Santa Claus”. It will run until November 5 as part of the Culture for Schoolchildren project. The organizers are the Representative Office of the Vologda region, JSC “Dad Moroz” and the Ministry of Culture of Russia.

The action is aimed at strengthening family values, familiarizing children with the traditions of winter holidays and popularizing national fairy tale heroes. Students from all over the country can participate in the creative competition in one of four categories.

Participants are invited to write and read a poem, come up with and tell a fairy tale, compose and perform a song. You can also make a greeting card or craft for the birthday of Santa Claus.

To participate, you need to leave an application in your personal account on the portal "Culture for Schoolchildren.RF" until November 5 inclusive. Experts will select about 100 best works. The results will be published on November 18, on the birthday of Great-Ustyug Santa Claus, in the "News" section on the same portal.

The winners will receive souvenirs from the All-Russian Santa Claus. The main prize is a certificate to visit his patrimony in Veliky Ustyug.
