Shuvaev took part in the launch of the updated metallization plant No. 4 at OEMK

The Governor of the Belgorod region Alexander Shuvaev took part in the launch of the updated metallization unit No. 4 at the Oskolsk Electrometallurgical Combine named after Ugarov. Its productivity increased by 30%.

The installation was updated by Metalloinvest. The work spent three years and almost 8 billion rubles. About 600 specialists worked on the site.

Alexander Shuvaev, together with the management of Metalloinvest, presented letters of thanks and awards to metallurgists, engineers, builders and installers who made this project. The head of the region reminded that metallurgy is one of the key industries of the Belgorod region. The plant employs thousands of people.

Alexander Shuvaev noted that the authorities will continue to do everything possible together with enterprises to increase export shipments.

"We will continue to engage in this direction of the economy so that the industrial sector of Belgorod region develops for the benefit of our region and the whole country," the governor said.
