Sweden demanded to find out the circumstances of the detention of its citizen in Russia

Sweden has requested information about its national detained in Russia. After the incident appeared in the media, the Swedish authorities instructed the embassy in Moscow to establish the necessary contacts and find out the circumstances of the incident, acting Prime Minister of the Kingdom Ulf Kristersson said after the EU summit in Brussels.

According to Kristersson, before the publication in the media, the Swedish side had no information about the detention. The diplomatic mission was instructed to contact the relevant structures to obtain information about the incident.
