The strength of the city is measured not only by buildings, but also by people: on City Day, seven babies were born in the 2nd maternity hospital

The city day became a double holiday for families in which children were born on this day. And on September 14, the chairman of the Minsk City Council Artem Tsuran and representatives of city committees came to the city clinical maternity hospital No. 2 to congratulate their mothers and give gifts - so the action "Hello, Minsk citizen!" was held. A. Tsuran, representatives of the Health Committee, the Committee on Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Minsk City Executive Committee came to the 2nd maternity hospital not empty-handed. They brought flowers, gifts and, most importantly, sincere words of support.

For this maternity hospital, the City Day was especially productive. Seven children were born: three boys and four girls. Four of the newborns became the firstborn in their families. But the real record and symbol of the holiday was the birth of the fourth child in one of the families - a boy who was born first at 2:42.

Addressing women, A. Tsuran emphasized the symbolism of the date. He noted that although City Day is not tied to a specific date, for these families it is now forever associated with a personal celebration.

- City Day in the calendar is not marked as permanent. It is celebrated on the second Saturday of September. Therefore, your young Minsk residents will have a special reason for a double holiday. Most importantly, we are very grateful that you decided to replenish your families. Any undertaking when the family decides to expand, we, the local authorities, try to support, including in material terms, said Tsuran.

He stressed that the strength of a city is measured not only by buildings, but also by people.

- Once again, I would like to emphasize how important it is when our city expands not only in architectural or infrastructure terms, but also in the most important – in residents. When it gets bigger, we become stronger in every sense. Each such appearance is a celebration. Double celebration, if it happens on City Day. I wish you health, strength, energy and wisdom to educate worthy citizens of our country, the Chairman of the Minsk City Council added.

Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Minsk City Executive Committee Tatiana Kudevich wished parents good health and children a successful path.

- Parents want to wish good health, happiness and good luck. And children - to be successful, successful, happy. Patience of parents at first will be necessary, but let the children be calm, she said.

Emotionally and touchingly congratulated mom Deputy Chairman of the health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee Tatyana Solomonova. She wished the children heavenly protection.

But the most sincere words came from the mothers themselves. One of the mothers, Nadezhda, shared her impressions, which touched to the heart. For those who have given birth for the first time, this day was especially exciting.

- We heard the fireworks and were glad that fireworks were given in honor of the birth of our children. I suddenly realized that I had become a mother. I thought it was a good reason or a sign, Nadezhda shared.

This touching moment was the best confirmation of the words of the guests that the birth of a child is the main event.

After the warm words of congratulations, A. Tsuran got acquainted with the material and technical base of the health care institution. The guest was shown the ancestral department updated after the repair: the maternity hall, sanitary rooms and the residency. The head doctor of the hospital Olga Sereda demonstrated that the conditions for Minsk women and their babies are becoming more comfortable every year, and the city authorities keep this issue under special control.

- We are focused on creating comfortable conditions as close as possible to home ones, and at the same time on compliance with all standards for the safe provision of medical care, Sereda said.
