The operating unit of the Simferopol Clinical Hospital was equipped with a new laparoscopic rack with an endoscopic imaging system and a set of tools for minimally invasive operations

The operating unit of the Simferopol Clinical Hospital was equipped with a new laparoscopic rack with an endoscopic imaging system and a set of tools for minimally invasive operations. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of health of the Crimea.
The equipment was purchased at the expense of the normalized insurance stock of the Territorial Fund of the MHI of Crimea. The new equipment replaced the old ones. The department noted that the high-definition video system will allow surgeons to more accurately perform manipulations and significantly expand the list of low-traumatic operations.
In particular, the equipment is planned to be used in operations for gallstone disease, hernia of the anterior abdominal wall and diaphragm, as well as gynecological pathologies.
At the new rack, you can simultaneously conduct gastroscopy and fibrocolonoscopy under anesthesia. Previously, these studies were performed separately and without anesthesia, so now the procedures will be more comfortable for patients.
The equipment is also equipped with a large Full HD monitor and a device for recording and transmitting data. It is expected that it will help train students and residents of surgical departments of the Medical Institute working on the basis of the hospital.
The use of laparoscopic equipment can reduce the risk of complications and blood loss, reduce postoperative pain syndrome and accelerate the recovery of patients.
