Forecaster told about the weather in the capital next week

At the beginning of the new week, the metropolitan region is waiting for a cold snap: during the day the temperature will not exceed +7 ... +9 ° C, and at night weak frosts are possible in Moscow. This was reported by the leading specialist of the weather center “Phobos” Mikhail Leus.

According to him, by October 17, October was noticeably warmer than normal - by 2.8 ° C, while the volume of precipitation was only about 40% of the monthly norm. The reason for the upcoming cooling will be the Scandinavian anticyclone: it will bring less warm air masses, reduce cloudiness and exclude precipitation.

On Tuesday, the anticyclone will keep dry and low-cloud weather, which will increase night cooling - the first frosts are expected in the capital. This will happen about 10 days after the average multi-year date (in the XXI century it falls on October 11). During the day the temperature will be +8... +10°C.

Anticyclonic weather will remain at least until the end of the working week. At the same time, the average temperature background will remain 2-3 ° C above the climatic norm: at night 0 ... + 5 ° C is expected, during the day - + 9 ... + 14 ° C.
