Today, on October 24, judges of the Constitutional Court took part in the action “Give the forest a new zhyzzo” in the Vilei district. Appreciating the rich natural resources of Belarus is the constitutional duty of every citizen. About this during the Saturday said the Chairman of the Constitutional Court Sergey Sivets, writes sb.by.

Sergei Mikhailovich noted:
- It is important that this duty to care for nature be not only in words, but also in deeds. Today, having planted birch and pine seedlings with our own hands, we showed by our example how important and necessary this is. On the way, we noticed the beauty of our forests. We want to pass this wealth on to subsequent generations.
According to Dmitry Grishkevich, the chief forester of the Vileysky experimental forestry farm, the summer hurricane destroyed more than 3,000 hectares of forest. The most affected were Vileysky, Kurenetsky, Narochsky areas.
- Almost all the affected territory had to carry out sanitary felling, he said. Weather permitting, we will renew the forest until the winter, and then continue in the spring. A lot of work, so help from organizations is very useful. Today, about 40 people work in Kurents, and in the whole district about 200. We will take care of young trees, we have all the means for this. The main thing is to grow a new, beautiful forest.
In total, judges of the Constitutional Court today planted 2 hectares of pine and birch trees. The leadership of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee joined the action “Give the forest a new zhyzzo!”
