Fatal accident occurred in Alnash district of Udmurtia

On October 16, 2026, at 19:20, on the 395th kilometer of the federal highway in the Alnash district of Udmurtia, a road accident occurred. Preliminary information indicates that the 55-year-old driver of the Lada Largus passenger car allowed the exit to the lane intended for oncoming traffic, which led to a collision with the Isuzu truck, which was driven by a 51-year-old man.

After the initial collision, the truck was again in the oncoming lane, where there was another accident involving two passenger cars: Lada Vesta, which was driven by a 36-year-old driver, and Toyota Rav 4, driven by a 33-year-old man. Subsequently, the truck drove into a ditch.

Unfortunately, the Lada Largus driver died at the scene of the accident before the ambulance crew arrived. The truck driver received one-time medical care. Car drivers were not injured.
