Smolensk bailiffs helped colleagues from the FSIN

Employees of the Department for Yartsevsky and Dukhovshchinsky districts of the FSSP of Russia in the Smolensk region detained a 45-year-old resident of the region in the court building. The man, who was wanted by the penitentiary inspectorate, arrived at the hearing, but was identified during the passage of the pass regime.

Earlier, the citizen was hiding from serving the sentence, because of which he was declared wanted. In addition, he had a large arrears on alimony in favor of his son, the amount of which reached 2 million rubles.

In the course of checking personal data and checking with databases, bailiffs established that the detainee was wanted. After that, the officer of the enforcement body detained the man and handed him over to the initiator of the search. This measure allowed to stop another attempt to evade punishment and confirmed the principle of its inevitability.

According to the statistics of the Ministry, since the beginning of 2026, bailiffs to ensure the established procedure for the activities of courts have already found and handed over to the authorized bodies 54 people hiding from the investigation, inquiry or court.
