Citizens reported hordes of rodents, and the inspection confirmed that the area is indeed inhabited. This became known from the data of the Prosecutor General’s office.
Residents complained that there are especially many rodents in the areas from the entrance on Kamskaya Street to Maly Prospekt V.O., as well as in the area of Direct, Speranskaya and Sergievskaya tracks. People are worried that with the onset of cold weather, rats will move to neighboring houses. In addition, many people go to work through the cemetery, so rodents can threaten the health of citizens.
The funeral service said that from January to September, their contractor, LLC Hygiene Service, inspected the territory on a monthly basis. However, supporting documents and information on the assessment of the occupancy of the cemetery in the supervisory authority and did not provide.
In turn, the “Hygiene Service” itself confirmed that the cemetery was inhabited by rodents. Experts estimated the intensity of settlement as average and recommended preventive deratization (baiting of rodents).
