More than 100 employees of the State Control Committee and the Department of Financial Investigations, headed by Chairman Vasily Gerasimov, today, October 24, worked in Kolodishchi, the correspondent of sb.by reports,

Planting of forests has become a good tradition for the employees of the committee, which unites the working team from year to year in an effort to make their native country more beautiful. In recent years, employees have been working mainly in weather-affected forests. This time in the Kolodishchansky forestry of the Borovlyansk special forestry. Together with the employees of the KGC on Saturday, workers of the Ministry of Forestry, headed by Minister Sergei Uldinovich, worked.

According to the decision of President Alexander Lukashenko, the Chairman of the KGC is responsible for the forest complex of the country, so employees of the department not only control the situation in the forest industry, but also help with their own efforts in reforestation. Today, the regional divisions of the committee worked on planting forests in all regions of the country. Saturday was also joined by employees of the Central Office, who cleaned up fallen foliage and debris in one of the Minsk parks.
- The State Control Committee is responsible for the forest. Today we are contributing to its preservation. There was a hurricane, it was a storm. Today they planted pine seedlings and ate. I am sure that in a few years a new forest will grow here. This event has long been a family affair for us. Many of our employees come with children - it is expensive. When you do it with your own hands, you treat it more carefully, said the Chairman of the KGC Vasily Gerasimov.

Having broken in pairs and armed with Kolesov’s swords, the labor troops of the KGC and the Ministry of Forestry planted about 4 hectares of forest. Planted pine trees and ate in the ratio of eight to two - the optimal combo for quality coniferous forest. And the soil here is suitable for the growth of such breeds.
Having planted another number of young pine trees, Deputy Head of the Main Department – Head of the Department for Control over the Environmental Complex, Forestry Industry and Chernobyl Problems of KGC Vasily Rudenik rightly noted that participation in the forest planting campaign has become a good tradition for the Committee employees. He is well acquainted with the technology of forest planting - in his field of view including the issues of forest reproduction:
- Today is a classic situation: we are working in the forest affected by the hurricane. The Borovlyansk Special Forestry Company prepared and sold the damaged wood in a timely manner, and prepared the cutter for the planned planting of a new forest. Of course, in the spring, trees have better survival, but in the fall these works can be done, the result is good. The main thing is to work without haste, clearly and efficiently, so that after us people do not rework, do not supplement forest crops. Then we will be proud of the tree we create today.

Some employees took children on Saturday so that the new generation would join the work from an early age. The son of Deputy Director of the Department of financial investigations KGC Sergey Kasheta Roman works on a par with adults. At the age of eight, the boy says he has been on Saturday for the third time:
- The main thing is to follow the technology so that the trees take root. Dad makes a hole, I plant a sprout, then together we trample the ground around. It is important to let in the air so that the rhizome is well preserved. Why didn't you stay home? Saturday is more interesting. You are doing important work here, because thanks to the forest, the air will be cleaner, and Belarus will be even more beautiful.

Work was arguing. On the site of the wasteland, one after another, slender rows of young Christmas trees and pines grew. Shortly distracted from work to talk to the press, the state inspector of the KGC Maria Rud says that she participates in subbotniks every year - in spring and autumn:
- We are doing important work, so even rainy weather is not a hindrance. The team is well-coordinated, so we work quickly, but not at the expense of quality, of course. Today we plant young trees, but strong. They say their survival rate is good. It will be great to see the result of your work and in ten years to return to this young forest for mushrooms.

By the way, next to the place where employees worked today, there is a section of forest that they planted in the spring. Employees of the department looked at the young planting to see how these seedlings took root. The leadership of the Brest region took part in the action “Give the forest a new zhyzzo”
