In the trade union health resorts and hotels of the Mogilev region, the infrastructure is being updated, the number of rooms is expanding and new opportunities for recreation and rehabilitation are being created. The progress of modernization of trade union tourist facilities during a working visit to the region was assessed by the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus Yuri Senko. It's from sb.by.

In the sanatorium named after V. I. Lenin in Bobruisk, by December they plan to build a spa complex with two swimming pools, a hammam and a Finnish bath, and in the hotel "Tourist" in Mogilev, a floor with rooms is overhauled.
V. I. Lenin Sanatorium is one of the oldest health resorts in the country. The rest house here opened in 1920, and in 1946 it received the status of a sanatorium. Today, the institution is in demand among both Belarusian and foreign guests. More than 40% of holidaymakers are regular customers who return here again.
To preserve the interest of guests and improve the quality of service, a large-scale modernization is carried out in the sanatorium. The facades and roofs of buildings have already been updated, the engineering infrastructure has been modernized. One of the key projects is the construction of a new spa complex with pools with mineral and ordinary water, a hammam and a Finnish bath. The work is scheduled to be completed in December this year.
The renovation of the health resort will not end there. Next year it is planned to complete the reconstruction of the water mud hospital. Thanks to the modernization, vacationers will be able to receive new health treatments in more comfortable conditions.

Changes also affected the trade union hotel "Tourist" in Mogilev. The fire alarm system has already been upgraded here, the heat unit has been automated and a number of rooms have been repaired. Now the overhaul of one of the floors continues: in the rooms the electrical wiring, bathrooms and decoration are updated, new furniture and equipment are installed. The plans include overhaul of the remaining floors, renovation of the restaurant and further improvement of the hotel infrastructure.
“Modernization of Mogilev objects is part of the large-scale work of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus on the development of tourism and health infrastructure,” Yuri Senko said. For the current five-year plan, the national trade union center has planned hundreds of measures for repair, reconstruction and construction of new facilities in all regions of the country.
