Young mothers, whose children were born on the birthday of the capital, were honored on September 14 in the city clinical maternity hospital No. 5, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

The mothers were congratulated on the happy event by the assistant to the President - Inspector for Minsk Dmitry Reutsky, Deputy Chairman of the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee Dmitry Tikhonov, Deputy Committee for Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Minsk City Executive Committee Natalia Karavaya, Chairman of the Minsk City Association of Trade Unions Sergey Shkrudnev, Head of the Administration of the Zavodsky District Vladimir Shibeko, his Deputy Sergey Artamonov, as well as Chairman of the Factory District Organization "Beloi Rus" Svetlana Leonenko.

Mothers were given flowers and gifts - blankets, bed linen, towels and much more - the most necessary for babies from the first days of life. Also waiting for a musical surprise - instrumental numbers on the saxophone.

Motherly love is the basis of life on earth. It is your love that will help children become good people, worthy citizens of our country, Reutsky said. There is no doubt that you will brilliantly cope with the new mission, but remember – the state is always close. Thank you very much for the invaluable gift on the birthday of the capital. Let the kids grow up happy, kind, strong!

Reutsky stressed that the support of families in our country is a national priority. These are maternity capital, repair and construction of housing, support for families throughout life, and also noted that Belarus has one of the lowest rates of child mortality, which indicates a high level of medical training, as well as modern approaches.

Congratulations were joined by V. Shibeko. He noted that it is great that now these children will always have a double holiday - a birthday on a significant day for the capital:

I wish you strength and energy to raise your children in peace and harmony, let them grow healthy and happy.

Deputy Chairman of the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee Dmitry Tikhonov wished new mothers health and patience, as well as visits to children's clinics exclusively on Tuesdays (the day of a healthy child under 3 years), and also wished not to stop there.

Svetlana Leonenko, Chairman of the Factory District Organization “White Russia”, said that children who were born on holidays important for the district, city and country are patronized by the organization from birth. Over the years, Belaya Rus has been congratulating these children on their holidays, bringing them to school, and helping families if they find themselves in a difficult situation.

On the birthday of the capital in the hospital, three babies were born - two boys and one girl. Two women gave birth to their first child, another became a mother for the second time.

Alesya Ostapkevich shared her impressions, who gave birth to the firstborn Jan on City Day:

- My son gave us a holiday like a Kinder surprise! The birth of the baby was difficult, I had to suffer, but it was worth it. The doctors helped a lot, there are wonderful staff, thanks to their help everything went well.
