Utilities experts reminded why it is impossible to approach the working garbage truck

A garbage truck operating in the yard is a source of increased danger: a large car has blind spots, and the driver may not notice a person nearby. This was recalled in the “Minsk urban housing”, writes sb.by.

It is noted that the driver can not see everything from the cabin, and the child is even more difficult to see. In addition, the garbage truck needs a lot of room to maneuver.

- Therefore, if such equipment works in the yard, you should follow simple rules: keep at least 5 meters away, do not try to squeeze between the car and containers, wait for the end of work to throw out garbage, and also explain to children why it is impossible to approach working special equipment.

The organization stressed that you should not expect that the driver sees you – you need to keep the distance, even if the car is standing still. In addition, in Minsk, yards are a zone of special responsibility: there are narrow passageways, parked cars and children playing.
