Chairman of the People’s Assembly of Dagestan Zaur Askenderov during a working trip to the village of Mammadkala, Derbent district met with residents of the Mikhailovka microdistrict affected by floods.
The meeting discussed the restoration of housing. The head of the district Elman Allahverdiyev reported on the current work and difficulties. Askenderov recommended to work out all options so that the victims did not remain on the street and could move into new housing before the cold.
The speaker stressed that all affected Mamedkalin residents should receive assistance, primarily those left without housing. The head of the district was instructed to provide full information on each victim: criteria, quadrature and appropriate support measures.
Askenderov noted that the first stage has already passed - 52 families received the keys to new housing. Now the second stage is to help build houses for those who have not been decorated.
“We have undertaken the construction of 10 houses that have already begun to be designed, and this work will continue. Families whose homes are under major renovations will also receive assistance. This is the position of Fyodor Shchukin, who noted that no family should be left without attention, he said.
