Demand for road freight in Russia grew by 20% in the third quarter
On the Cargo platform

The number of applications for transportation of goods by road in Russia on the ATI.SU exchange in the third quarter of 2026 increased by 20% compared to the same period last year. It's reported by the company.
On Cargo.run, a transportation management platform, the figure rose 18 percent to about 383,000 applications. According to ATI.SU, in quarterly terms, the growth was 24%, and in nine months - 29% year-on-year.
The largest increase in the number of applications was recorded by the exchange from the Ryazan region - more than 2.5 times compared to the third quarter of 2025. The volume of requests on the directions of Crimea and Sevastopol increased 1.9 times and more than tripled, respectively. The reason for the increased demand for delivery of goods to the Crimea and Sevastopol could be a shortage and an increase in the cost of fuel. Many carriers refused flights in this direction, so shippers had to place orders on platforms more often.
For Kuzbass, the growth of demand for road transportation is also relevant: the region is actively involved in interregional trade, and logistics companies are looking for new routes and opportunities for cargo delivery.
