Applications for the award “Best Industrial Design of Russia” started

Applications for the national award “Best Industrial Design of Russia” have started: in the season 2026-2027, you can declare both manufactured products and promising developments.

The works will be evaluated in eight categories: ground transport, industrial spaces, industrial equipment, medical equipment, household items, water and air transport, special machinery, lifting and transport equipment.

Supporting industrial design is an investment in the future of Russian manufacturing. We are interested in domestic companies creating products that win both in functionality and appearance, said Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov and added that the award helps to promote domestic products.

Industrial design today is not just the appearance of the product, but a strategic tool for the development of domestic production companies. It allows to produce convenient, high-tech and functional products, thereby increasing the competitiveness and recognition of enterprises in the market, commented Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

The competition was established on the initiative of the Government of Moscow and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to support domestic manufacturers and develop industrial design. In 2024, it received the status of a national award. In 2025, more than 500 projects from 63 regions took part, 68 enterprises won, 31 of them - Moscow.
