Stavropol mineral water enters the UAE market

Producers of mineral water from the Stavropol Territory began deliveries to the United Arab Emirates. Four containers were shipped to the country in September and October.

Interest in the products arose at the Gulfood exhibition in Dubai - the mineral woman was interested in distributors, retail chains and the hotel and restaurant sector of the UAE and the Persian Gulf countries. At the beginning of the year, the company’s production sites were tested through a special quality control system, and today the products are certified by the Emirates Quality Mark as carbonated water with a high mineral content.

The Minister of Economic Development of the Stavropol Territory Anton Doronin said that on average the company produces 32 million bottles per month, and last year at all facilities of the NCFD produced 340 million bottles. According to him, the products are known in 23 countries: the main directions are the CIS countries and Mongolia, last year supplies to India began, this year they resumed to China. In the future, manufacturers are working on cooperation with countries in East Asia and Africa and are considering Iran. The Minister noted that he was pleased with the opportunity of Stavropol manufacturers to reach the world level, and stressed that the department is constantly in touch with local brands and pays special attention to expanding their business if requested.
