Exposure

First of all, these are professions related to radiation. There is a term “irradiated enamel” – it also refers to the loss of bone tissue. Enamel can be exposed to radiation in those who are constantly near computers, televisions and mobile phones, such as video editors. The safe distance to the monitor is 40-60 centimeters. Today we use the phone not only for calls, but also as a working tool. Ideally, however, the phone should be on a stand. Techniques are improving, and there are devices that give less and less radiation.

Harmful fumes

There are also occupations involving exposure to harmful fumes and acids. For example, in the chemical and wood industries, people must use personal protective equipment. Some enterprises even put machines with carbonated water - it is believed that it helps neutralize the effect of acid.

Stress

There are also jobs related to stress. The mechanism is as follows: adrenaline is released, the muscles begin to contract, and the person grits his teeth. This is called “holding yourself together.” This factor also negatively affects the condition of the teeth.
